About
Denise Smith is the baker and
owner of My Daughter's Cakes, and maintains a focus in custom wedding cake
design and exquisite, handmade sugar flowers.
Denise’s love for baking began at the age of 4 and grew stronger as the
years went on. After enhancing her
pastry skills at the French Culinary Institute in New York City, Denise embarked on a mission
of self-taught sugar work. Denise’s
vision was to create beautiful cakes just the way she loved them as a child:
moist, fresh, flavorful, and delicious.
Denise left behind a very rewarding 28-year legal career to make My
Daughter’s Cakes a reality.
My Daughter’s Cakes is a
fully-licensed private bakery and cake studio located at 204A Leonia Avenue, Bogota,
Bergen County, New Jersey,
and services all areas of New Jersey, New York City and the New York Metropolitan area, and Pennsylvania. My Daughter's Cakes will accept only one
wedding cake per date in order to ensure sufficient time and attention to every
detail of your unique cake.
My Daughter's Cakes uses only
the freshest, highest-quality ingredients available in all of its
products. All cakes and cookies are made
fresh to order, ensuring that coveted, homemade taste. My Daughter's Cakes also produces traditional
West Indian fruitcakes and traditional British fruitcakes for weddings.
Our private bakery and cake studio provides the
perfect setting to discuss the design of your cake and enjoy a complimentary
cake tasting. Consultations and cake
tastings are by appointment only.
My Daughter's Cakes also custom
designs cakes for other of life's special events, including engagements,
showers, anniversaries, retirements, and graduations.
